To legalize or not to legalize,is that even a question ?

All over the world in several countries they try to find a way to prohibit cannabis but at the same time find a way to use the good ability of the plant. In the Netherlands they are arguing about it for a long long time now. Some want to legalize, some want to prohibit. Last decision was about the percentage of THC that cannabis contains, what is immeasurable because it depends on how you let her grow, what kind you have etc.Next issue was about medicinal cannabis and now they are thinking of introducing the so called "weed-pass".That means a registration, your name on a pass and no entrance in any coffee-shop whatsoever if you are not in possession of this weed-pass. To me it sounds a bit like the 45' situation...but lets not get into that.Only the several discussions about  when the weed-pass will be introduced (first it was January 2012, now it has been postponed until May and yesterday they were thinking about letting the whole idea go...) make a lot of cannabis-users laugh a little.A negative effect of prohibition cannabis is that large-scale cultivation and export leads to a lucrative source of income to criminal organisations. Then the real "war on drugs" can begin because come on, nobody likes competition and especially not in that kind of business. Also teenagers will try to get their cannabis through illegal ways, even more then they already do.Let us all realise that if cannabis is prohibited it has more down-sides than up-sides, especially because it has been tolerated for so many years.I know for sure that our little country will do well if cannabis is legalized, not only financially but the cannabis market will stay visible for the government as well as for concerned parents. So let us hope for the best and keep enjoying the taste of cannabis !
